Painting a Brighter Future, Jeet’s Journey from Darbhanga
Jeet, a young man from Darbhanga, Bihar, always dreamed of securing a stable livelihood, but opportunities in his hometown were scarce. Coming from a modest background, he often took up small, irregular painting jobs to support his family. What he lacked was structured training and access to the formal workforce.
That changed when he joined the Paint Training Program implemented by Global Hunt Foundation and facilitated by Impact Sapiens. Through hands-on sessions and expert guidance, Jeet learned the technical skills of professional painting: surface preparation, color mixing, safety measures, and finishing techniques along with essential workplace etiquette and financial literacy.
His dedication paid off. Upon completing the program, Jeet was placed with a reputed company where he now receives regular painting assignments, fair wages, and the benefits of a formal work environment. With his steady income, he has taken charge of his family’s wellbeing and is proudly supporting his younger brother’s education.
Today, Jeet stands as an example of how skill development can transform not just a career, but an entire family’s future.
“Earlier, I worked day to day. Now, I plan for tomorrow,” Jeet says with a smile, brush in hand and confidence in his voice.
