Meaningful employment begins with access to the right skills and the confidence to apply them. In many parts of Maharashtra, individuals especially youth and women face challenges such as limited training opportunities, lack of industry exposure, and barriers in entering stable work environments.
To support sustainable livelihood growth, we launched a Skill Training and Employability Development Program designed to equip participants with practical, industry-relevant skills and the confidence to pursue new opportunities.
Through this initiative, 350 individuals have successfully completed training and are better prepared for employment or entrepreneurship.
Program Focus Areas
The training program centered around building both hard skills and workplace readiness, ensuring participants could apply their learning in real-world settings:
- Skill-based training aligned with local job market needs
- Soft skills and communication development
- Entrepreneurship awareness sessions
- Mentorship and guidance for job placement or self-employment
Training was conducted through interactive workshops, hands-on practice, and continuous guidance, ensuring every participant could learn at their own pace.
